Most sleep masks are an afterthought — scratchy elastic, synthetic fabric, and a fit that shifts the moment you move. The SilkyBare Mulberry Silk Eye Mask is different. Crafted from 100% Grade 6A, 22 Momme pure mulberry silk, it's designed to block light completely while treating the delicate skin around your eyes with the same care as your best skincare.
The skin around the eyes is the thinnest and most delicate on the face — and it's in contact with your sleep mask all night. Synthetic fabrics create friction, absorb moisture, and can contribute to fine lines and puffiness over time. Mulberry silk does the opposite: its naturally smooth surface glides against skin without tugging, and its breathable fibres help regulate temperature so you stay comfortable all night.
The SilkyBare Silk Eye Mask makes a genuinely thoughtful gift — for a friend who needs better sleep, a mum who deserves a moment of luxury, or yourself. Pair it with our Mulberry Silk Pillowcase for the ultimate silk sleep experience, or find it as part of our Luxury Silk Gift Set.
Grade 6A is the highest quality classification for mulberry silk, meaning only the longest and most uniform silk fibres are used. Momme (mm) is the measure of silk weight and density — the higher the momme, the more substantial and durable the fabric. At 22 Momme, our silk is heavier and longer-lasting than the 16–19 Momme pillowcases commonly sold at lower price points.
Mulberry silk is the highest quality silk available, produced by silkworms fed exclusively on mulberry leaves. It has a naturally smooth, uniform fibre that is softer, stronger, and more lustrous than other silk types. Satin is not silk — it is a weave pattern, usually made from polyester, that mimics the look of silk but lacks its skin and hair benefits.
Yes. Our mulberry silk is sourced from an established, OEKO-TEX® certified manufacturer, meaning it has been tested and certified free from harmful substances.
Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate/silk cycle using cold water and a gentle, pH-neutral detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and harsh chemicals. Air dry away from direct sunlight — do not tumble dry.
Our silk eye mask is available in a soft off-white tone designed to blend seamlessly with most bed linen.
